A dragon with a forgotten past. Druan was found by Arrenzo at a clan meet and brought to join Clan Kaitos. Naturally strong, he soon replaced Khalafin as Arrenzo's sworn ally against all comers in battle. He grew stronger, partnering well with Arrenzo's gift with magic, until none could stand against them. He is loyal only to Arrenzo, and is the only dragon standing between him and an uprising. It is rare for him to speak, although he is often found contemplating on his forgotten past in the times before Kaitos.

Druan took part in the Brightshine Jubilee 2014, enticed by the strange colours and smells and Arrenzo's insistence that he needed to get some air before he developed mould. He took part in the egg guessing game, much to Arrenzo's surprise, as well as a few others before the end of the festival. The duo thought nothing more about it... until a little guardian showed up at the door...

Despite initial attempts to get rid of the tenacious guardian, Druan gave in quicker than other members of the clan would have predicted. He named the baby 'Ares' and allowed him to follow him around the lair, despite the hatchling's loud proclomations that he was going to protect Druan, his Charge. The guardian would snuggle under his Charge's wing at night, bringing back memories to Druan of former times - dim images of a beautiful wildclaw and three little hatchlings. A bond began to form between the wildclaw and the guardian, one that Druan had never had with his children.


When Ares grew, Druan threw him out of his lair, leaving him to occupy the closest empty lair nearby. However, the two remained close, despite Ares' jealous behaviour when it came to Arrenzo, to whom Druan continued to be fiercely loyal.

Druan disappeared with Arrenzo one day while out gathering. All that was left behind was his distraught downy fox rat companion, who ran back into the clan yipping in distress. His disappearance is not felt as strongly as Arrenzo's, apart from with the guardian that is left without a charge, and an imperial who mourns the fact she never managed to confess her feelings.
