Arcade is a healer, which makes him a vital figure for any clan's survival in the Scarred Wasteland. He's quite knowledgeable and spends much of his spare time researching new ways to help his patients, but prefers to avoid the center of attention and downplays himself whenever put on the spot. He's professional and methodical, in spite of his self-esteem issues, but loudly bemoans his patients' decisions that end up with them on his doorstep - their habitation in Rotrock Rim being chief among them. Of course, the location isn't his only complaint with plague dragons, nor their willingness to pick fights no sane dragon should - he's positively horrified by some of the local medical practices he's seen. Don't even try to suggest that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger unless you want a two-hour lecture on gangrene.

It's certainly unusual for a non-plague dragon to have settled so close to the Wyrmwound, but in Arcade's own words, he wanted to end up somewhere where he could actually make a difference. It seems he's gotten his wish, though the scenery certainly leaves something to be desired.
