_____The no-nonsense former Matron of Clan Bromeliad often claims to have honed her skills in the “fires of the Mire, itself,” but no one is sure just how seriously to take that statement. Her mouth is sometimes considered a separate entity from the Snapper it is attached to, spouting outrageous claims and expletives one moment, and grim warnings the next.

_____Either way, no one doubted her abilities as the head of domestic affairs and nest care. She’s not only an experienced egg tender, but also a skilled healer; though much of her expertise laying in emergency quick-response situations. Whenever events took a turn for the serious, Powder had always stood ready to face any challenge presented and mended any scrapes accrued along the way.

_____Powder's decision leave the Boarding Home was met with much resistance, but the Snapper could not be swayed. Passing her position to her old mentor, the former matron ambled off into the night, possibly never to be seen again.

_____The Mistwatch Shellion could be found just about everywhere Powder wasn't and to see them both in the same place was considered a bad omen amongst the more troublesome inhabitants of the Bromeliad.

_____During the end of a nesting period, Frost could usually be found tottering around the nursery, preparing it for the incoming hatchlings.
