Your second sign will be the bones and half-eaten carcasses, mangled beyond recognition, lining the banks of the murky waters. There is no third sign. To linger in their hunting grounds is to become their prey. A screech and the gnashing of teeth will mark the end.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.Guards give advice to those who ask for it before leaving the city, though some would argue that their words are useless. They will tell you to avoid the screaming in the fog beyond, whether it sounds like an animal or another dragon, do not trust it. If you lose your way and begin to smell the approach of an emperor, your best course of action is a swift, yet quiet escape in the other direction. Failing that, throw yourself down into the mud and pray that the beast will pass you by. If they find you, there is no escape.
