A seer's daughter shuffles tarot cards with well-practiced ease, her eyes locked onto something in the distance of the alpine plains that is too far to be seen. She is broken out of her reverie when a card slips from her deck, landing on the worn boards of her house's wooden porch. Sirene plucks the card from the ground, and frowns as she rubs the smooth surface between a finger and her thumb. The Fool card. An important card of the Major Arcana, as the Major Arcana can also be described as the Fool's Journey, for he is present for every moment. Sirene's eyes drift back to the plains, as she searches for something that only exists in her dreams. A journey, huh. . . This beast lurks in mirrors, walking in reflections and morphing to show the most successful version of who she parodies. She whispers in the ears of the drowsy and disoriented, encouraging them to follow whatever opportunities they've been given, or pursue whatever pipe dream has seized them recently. For many dragons, they find great success at the Fool's advisement, and when they listen for her voice or look for her reflection they will find themselves abandoned. For the few that allow the Fool to lead them off a metaphorical cliff through impulsive decisions, Fool will continue to nip at their heels. She leads the unwary further and further into chaos, until they are left with nothing to their names; only then will the Fool find their souls ripe to harvest.
