Outside the cave and further down the road, a Pearlcatcher sits alone perched on a rock. He looks up at the sound of others approaching. He is young, bright and glitters in the sunlight, and a lot less worn than the ones in the cave. His pearl is nowhere to be seen.

"Oh," he says when he notices you. He glances between you and the seashore where the lair entrance lies, shaded by cliffs and rocks. The look he gives you is surprised.

"We don't get many visitors here," he begins. "They don't talk much about any friends..." He looks thoughtfully at the hidden lair entrance. Then he looks at you.

"But where are my manners? Hello," he reaches out a set of pristine sharp claws. "I'm Elijah, and I live over there with Drald and Shock. I'm sure you've met them already if you're coming back this way." His smile is bright and young, nothing like the dragons in the lair.

"If you need anything, I'd be happy to help. You can stop by any time. Just," he glances at the lair. "Try to tread cautiously with them, okay? They've both been through a lot, and I worry about them."

The bright look in his eyes dulls a bit as he says this, but he covers it quickly.

"Anyway, feel free to ask me if there's anything you need. I'm sure I'll be more approachable than Grumpy in there."
