You pass several eerily empty dens, when a flurry of greens and blues dance before your eyes, painted on the walls of the next den over. An odd chirping whistles through the air as you cautiously step up to the den, weary after past experiences with the clan. A chipper Coatl sits inside, their paws smeared with lively natural hues. You walk up to tap on his shoulder, when you step on a discarded paintbrush, snapping it in two. The Coatl's gaze points at you, but you look away, too embarrassed to meet it. "Please, don't be afraid to look me in the eyes," they chirp reassuringly. "This is my den, a.k.a. workshop. Sorry it's a mess; I tend to paint with my own claws rather than with a brush, and sometimes I just get carried away!"

They smile, and curl up in front of you. "Have a seat; I haven't had a good, long chat with anyone new in a while. You know us Wind dragons; always adventurous!" You find a dry spot on the floor, dusting away a few canvases and abandoned brushes. The Coatl lets out a fluty cough, then stares up at you eagerly. "Hemophilia and Valentino like to visit hotspots for interclan immigrantsevery now and then, trying to connect with their roots, I guess. Occasionally, the matriarch will join them, looking for new 'recruits,' but I digress. I had just left my clan when they met me. Valentino was willing to chat for a while, and, with his mate's consent, he let me stay in the clan. I owe him pretty much everything now- If it hadn't been for my joining this clan, Id've never met Pollen. We were really close friends, and, uh... We're mates now. I'm Inspiration, by the way, so if you see him later, feel free to tell him I said 'hi!'" You nod, and continiue walking on, refreshed by the Coatl's friendliness.
