Mechanic and programmer and inventor of new and exciting things. Was originally the one who was responsible for creating Jason's artificial brain, and feels some amount of regret that things went the way that they did. Not that she could help it, of course; Matvei took the project from her and outsourced it so that she could be reassigned to something a touch more important. That task? Making sure The Vessel didn't blow up in a storm of Lightning and Shade magic. Now that Jason is up and running, however, and seems to be able to take over this job, Synthia is once again back to doing mechanical and computational work, crunching numbers, developing code, fixing machinery, and working with Vetya and Luciferase to piece together how the machinery Shelcoof left behind works (and potentially, how to turn it off). Despite the fact that The Vessel is dangerously inching toward "critical" and she is right in the blast radius, Synthia is always upbeat and seems to be of the mind that she has everything under control. Because she does. Totally. So long as Matvei doesn't outsource her job again...
