H i s t o r y

❧ As the flames of the ever burning Ashfall Waste flicker all around, it is easy to understand why this clan in all it's fierceness sought such a place to call home. Banished outright from the Shadows, they wondered the lands of Sornieth for a place to simply be.

Before they had a name, all which existed were the founding pair, a Male Guardian of immense size and a beautiful but friendly Female Tundra. Together they had called out to the Shadowbinder and requested a home on which they could do her bidding. The answer was a small patch of land covered in tree's and brambles.

It was then the Guardian's true role began, though their lair attracted many, the Guardian was too engrossed in the tides of war with the Beastclans, and thus was unable to protect the Clan from numerous invasions by the creatures. Many Dragons that were too fearful to remain, changed Clan's, or left in servitude of the Deity.

As the sands of time fell steadily, The Clan turned to dark methods in an attempt to protect themselves, as such they even went as far as trying to induce The Shade. Enraged by this discovery, the Shadowbinder cast them from her realm with the promise that such a return would be disastrous for them all.

Embittered by this, the Leader's left their birthland and went in search of a new realm to reside. The Clan had now grown in strength and it was so full of many skilled warriors, craftsman and workers, that they no longer needed to dabble with The Shade in order to protect themselves ever again.

Many months of wondering brought them to the warm Ash laden lands on which they'd now call home.

It was then the name of the Clan arose, from the words Shadow and Flame, which reflect their beginnings to the present. ☙
