Quiet and withdrawn; the clan's shy gem. Almost everyone has a soft spot for Iara and do their utmost to protect her. She came to them as a small, frightened girl and has been sheltered in Shade Hollow ever since.

She seems to have taken a particular liking to the silent, gentle Nazareth. It is not uncommon to see her in his lap, practicing magic together with her hands over his. Her voice is seldom heard; her and Naz don't seem to need words to communicate. But sometimes she can be found whispering to the pixies that flock to her.
