Actius
-He/Him-
Actius had never met Ephemeris—the dragon he now calls his wife—before the Astrolab crashed. Ephemeris studied the stars, while Actius studied plant life and ecology. Their areas of study were so different that they never encountered eachother on the large floating island, and only met after arriving in Sornieth.
In the chaos of the crash, Actius was separated from the rest of his crew, and as the Astrolab began to sink, his wings were soaked and weighed down with water that made them too heavy to fly. It was Ephemeris who hauled him out of the water and onto the shore.
From the shore of the Starfall Isles, they and countless other Aethers watched as their home sunk into the ocean.
Ephemeris, who loved to explore new things and had long grown restless in the Astrolab, was excited to adventure out into the new world before her. Actius thanked her, but she could see that the dragon she had rescued looked nervous in their new environment. She invited him to come with her and explore, hoping to settle his nerves.
Actius, though still nervous, was enticed with the idea of all new things to research. Wildlife that he had only heard stories about, tall towering trees, and sunrises. He wanted to see it all. Leaving behind his crew, which he never felt like he belonged with anyway, Actius and Ephemeris left to explore Sornieth together.
They traveled across the continent, with Actius looking down at the ground and plant life, and Ephemeris gazing up at the stars. They traveled to lands too hot, too cold, too dry, too wet, and one that was way too gooey, before arriving in the Sunbeam Ruins, where they settled.
There was lots of wildlife for Actius, and without so many trees that Ephemeris wouldn’t be able to see the sky, but best of all, it had a culture that encouraged research! The pair of Aethers fit in well with the clan of light dragons, who’s scholars were similarly excited to meet the new dragons.

List of things he hoards:
Bound arrangements of supplementary sustenance, sustenance transportation units, partially consumed sustenance portions, miniature Arcanist delineations, supplementary sustenance, malleable earth substance samples.
