An absolutely massive koi fish that lives within the large, lake-like pond within Ruine's mists. It seems as though someone once gave him sentience with an enchantment, but it's not like he knows what to do with it. He is still just a fish, as much as he'd like to be a dragon.

It's easy to tell which one he is by his size, appearing much larger than the other (still quite large) carp. Glowing yellow runes lace his sides, sometimes changing but always there. The locals call him the Runescale after these magical symbols, likely being the thing that gives him his intelligence.

Interestingly enough, he seems to be enamored by the statue that sits at the top of the pond. He will sit slightly out of the water, staring into her emerald eyes. Perhaps he is not as intelligent as he gives away, as it is obvious that she is in deep slumber. But he still tries to wake her up, either by splashing her or singing to her, which sounds quite odd, but nothing works.

Almost as though he is waiting for her, he can often be found sleeping at the foot of her pedestal. 		xxxxx
