Venia is a proud dragon. She knows exactly her purpose in life and has filled that position to a T. She's hoard-keeper by day, organizing all of the commune's most precious treasures and resources, and by night? She's the librarian of course! There are very few things Venia values more than a good book, or an interesting trinket/artifact. She's been a member of the commune for years now. She isn't an original member, but she's been around long enough to be considered family. She's well-liked and well-trusted by almost all of the clan. She can seem a bit strict or standoffish to those who don't know her well, but those who do know that her stony look is all a front. She's quite kind when it comes down to it, and has a wicked sense of humor. She's loved by her clanmates but only particularly close to one or two other dragons. Her best friend and closest confidant is [hold]. They're seen together more often than not, usually just enjoying each other's company, if not arguing like a married couple over some academic paper. Venia was born in the Viridian Labyrinth- and in fact even spent her childhood in the Worldedge Wetlands. She left to find her place in life early on- she just didn't expect to find it almost immediately! The commune was moderately sized when she first happened upon it, and while she never intended to stay, she realized quickly they needed her, and she needed them. Their hoard was a disaster- and nobody in the clan had access to any literature! She was looking for a purpose and a place to be. It just, fit. You can usually find her in the library she built, or organizing the buried vault that they keep their hoard contained in. It's rare to see her without also spotting [Hold] trailing not far behind. They both insist they're just close friends but behind closed doors? It remains a mystery. Venia also enjoys tea and snacks, playing with her familiar, and above all, curling up with a good book. |
