Smokescreen
Member of the Elite Guard

Smokescreen is an oddity in that he was technically born to Optimus, and yet has no genetic similarities. Medics have theorized that he may be a case of randomization in response to the power of the Matrix messing with his DNA, but that is not confirmed. Whatever the case, Smokescreen is a proud son of Optimus Prime all the same. He was raised during the decline of the great war and joined with the Elite Guard to learn to fight away from the worst of the battles taking place in the territory. Some claim he was coddled too much considering he only recently rejoined his father and is only now making up for his lack of combat experience.

Smokescreen is highly energetic and prone to trying his best to please whoever he is serving under. He desperately wants to be acknowledged and takes any insult directed toward his faction personally. He is very happy go lucky but knows when to get serious. He has been noted to have a particular affinity toward the Matrix, one that Optimus has already stated means Smokescreen may be viable to be the next Prime. Smokescreen does not like to think about that possibility and is far more content to leave that to Hotrod who has also shown a connection to the relic.
