Vulture
Fret not, dear heart, let not them hear,
The mutterings of all your fears

Winter, the season of isolation. As dragons cuddle up in their homes, cozy and warm, they lose touch with the tight-knit communities that flourish in the warm months. The world rests, for a time, until the loneliness rises in the psyches of dragonkind. The isolation is choking, demanding, and it leaves every dragon utterly helpless against it. Many dragons in the Southern Icefield, where the winter is longest and the night endless, build small shrines to the Twins. Rumor has it, this pair of faeries can alleviate the howling loneliness of winter, though not many dragons know how high of a price this magic comes with.

Vulture doesn't recall a time when they were ever alone. They were born as one-and-two, a monstrous result of Wren's cursed bloodline. Their mother tried to keep them hidden from the Courts, but Vulture, ever the optimist, refused to shy away from their family or hide their true form. They are the jovial sort, and they see their togetherness as a blessing, not a curse; after all, everyone else must fend off isolationism and loneliness, but Vulture is never alone! It's this upbeat attitude that courts the favor of many other faeries; Vulture is the life of the party, and their happiness is infectious. They can often be found entertaining other faeries with conversation or games, and trying to make friends with even the prickliest of fae.

They have taken a mate in Paradise, a Plague fish trawler who is just as upbeat as Vulture themselves.

It's unheard of to be Vulture's enemy, their charisma and bonds with other faeries make them an undesirable rival.

Cold and unsympathetic, the Winter Court fae are as unmoving as the ice they rule over. Earning favor within this court is incredibly difficult, and those who do find it is far easier to lose their favor. The Winter Court is most well known for granting questing dragons justice, but everyone gets their due in time.
