Viola was never fully able to tell the story of what happened, how could they explain it? They had just left their parents den and home clan for the first time, the woods they had entered for rest and food quickly got them lost as the tree's got denser and the path disapeared, It got colder and colder, and colder, until they had collapsed In a small clearing overrun with crystal like thorns. They crawled up the podium In the middle, laying on the steps with eye's fluttering, they waited for the death that was coming.

Until the brightest light that the young fae had ever seen fluttered before them, cradling the frostbitten dragon In her arms she sung a lullaby, It was warm and comforting, something so familiar and distant. Viola was too wrapped up In the sweet melody that they had hardly noticed being softly placed In a cot, they motion filled with so much warmth and love that they had wined when she put them down and retracted her arms. The cold had come back once more, followed by an emptiness and sense of longing, the guards and medics had swiftly moved the fae somewhere warmer, but It was nothing compared to the love of something Viola hadn't even seen, something that they didn't know, something that they loved back just as much.

Many of the guardsmen on shift at that moment can still remember the day Viola showed up, one moment they had left the medbay empty, the next they found a strange fae glowing with moonlight on one of the beds like someone had walked In and put them there. They were cold, and unmoving, It was considered a miracle that they had survived as It was clear they had been lost for awhile, getting lost In the woods of Boreas was considered a death-sentence to outsiders who had not learned the ways of the frost, they had prayed and thanked her for saving this young fae, for giving them the new family member that the young Viola was now considered. They were called a gift from the stars, and were treated like the child that most of the guardsmen had never had.

At their request, Viola was trained by the guards In combat, excelling In archery and quickly climbing the ranks from a newbie wall guard to the captain of their own hunting and patrolling fleet.
Eventually, Viola's twin Luna had caught up to them, refusing to let Viola out of her sight again. They can be typically found In the guards barracks or In the castle Itself as the two king's of Boreas have taken a strong liking to them.
There's been sightings of the royal couple receiving paperwork from the twins home clan, rumors have spread that the kings consider adoption. No one asks the two king's personally, but the entire kingdom Is secretly overjoyed to have their own two royal prince's.
