It's hard to say when exactly Mythos fell in love with Glosi. It could have been the day that they first met, when they talked until the sun set and Glosi invited him to stay with her family. It might have been the morning when he left Visrot Clan, and she came barreling after him, shouting something about "stuck with me now!". It could have been during any of their late night conversations, hiding away in caves, taking turns keeping watch while the other slept. If he had to guess, though, Mythos thought it was probably a few weeks into their stay at Byron and Juliet's clan, when during one of Glosi's sentry shifts, he happened to watch her chase off an entire hoard of beasts, as well as scare off all of the birds and prey within hunting radius. Thankfully he had been able to drudge up some fish from the shore or the whole clan would have gone hungry that night.

Mythos had never been one to think too hard about matters of life (or in this case, love), so almost as soon as he realized that he loved her, he also knew that he had to tell her. That very night, he asked to have tea together after dinner. She had become fast friends with the other clan members, though, and to his dismay, she brought along Zeria and Sycora. The next day, he tried again, inviting her to fly to the shore in the afternoon and walk along the water. When she showed up with Colette and Vayne, he almost told them to go without him (though disappointed, his desire to spend time with her at all won out). On the third day, he cornered her on her way to breakfast.

"Can I see you tonight? Alone?" he asked.

"Oh... hm," the obelisk yawned, rubbing at her eyes sleepily. "I have sentry duty tonight. Can we hang out tomorrow instead?"

"Yes!" Mythos replied, a little too quickly. "Tomorrow night. Just the two of us," he reminded her, then headed off to breakfast.

The day passed by in a blur as his excitement got the better of him. Before he knew it, night settled upon the clan. On his way back from hunting, he stopped to say goodnight to Glosi, but instead found Orphne on sentry duty. His first thought was to worry - was Glosi okay? His second was hurt. Did she lie to him about having sentry duty? Either way, he decided to wait and talk to her about it tomorrow. She must have her reasons. He instead wished Orphne a quiet night and headed back to his den.

Upon entering his den, he immediately knew that something was off. Someone was inside.

"Who's there?" he asked, wings slightly raised in offense.

"It's me! Surprise!" at Glosi's sweet voice, he instantly relaxed. "I traded shifts with Orphne so we could hang out tonight!"

He certainly was surprised. "You didn't have to do that."

"Mm... I wanted to!" Glosi chirped. "I wanted to see you."

Now was his chance! "Glosi, I-" he began.

"I love you." the obelisk blurted. "Oh, sorry! What were you going to say?"

Mythos gaped at her. "I love you."

She leaned forward to nuzzle him. "Yes, that's what I said. I've been trying to tell you for a while now, but I kept getting too nervous."

"No, I-- I've been--!" Mythos groaned. "I've been trying to tell you too, but I couldn't get you alone. I love you, Glosi. I want to spend my life with you."

The other dragon purred, nestling closer.

"I'd really like that."

Their first clutch hatched shortly after. Glosi hoped that their hatchlings would find as much happiness as she did when they were ready to leave the nest.
