Drawn to the Starfall Isles by her fascination with magic, Sirrush settled into the first clan she came across, far out in the Crystalspine Reaches. Born in the Snowsquall Tundra to the chieftain of her clan, she felt she had to move on soon after reaching adulthood, while her family was loving she felt she needed to seek her own way elsewhere.

The welcome she received surprised her, she was the only wildclaw in the clan when she arrives but that didn't seem to matter too much. Bugloss was only too happy to show her his garden (once he'd established that she wasn't a threat to it) and Sedum was happy to reassure her that being the only dragon of your breed wasn't all bad.

She's an inquisitive dragon, but is still looking for the right question to dedicate her life to. She has been fascinated by the shapes of the spires and their odd colour, so was looking for some dragon with knowledge of geology to teach her a bit more. When Kongamato arrived and she got him to tell her about his research she was overjoyed and the two of them got on very well. She is more interested in sediments than his crystals, but it's close enough that his findings have some bearing on hers. And she really likes the way he talks so enthusiastically about crystal structure when it's so hard to get him to talk about anything else. She's very proud that it was her that finally broke through his shell.

But although she previously was upset about being the only wildclaw, she soon found she preferred that situation when Lauma arrived. The two of them find it hard to pass each other without exchanging blows, and they try to avoid each other whenever possible. The problem is made worse by the fact that Kongamato needs samples from her regularly, something that really infuriates her although she's not sure why.
