swamp man | hopeless romantic | pure-hearted 
Kaitaka is a resident of the oasis' swamplands, making himself at home inside a large hollowed tree - a bit too big for one dragon alone, but just the right size for two. The spiral even decorates accordingly, always making sure to have two teacups, two nests, two food storages, and two mushroom stools. The perfect living space for any dragon couple! ... That is, it will be once he finds his other half to take up the matching set.

The spiral is regarded as a hopeless romantic, one day hoping to meet his true love and making a happy home within his swamp. He has a bit of a struggle keeping someone's attention though, and really needs to work on his approach. With no one to mentor him, he's left to use a mix of his own ideas as well as techniques he's read in the books he's found in the swamp. This can often lead to circumstances where he'd rise up from the murky waters, skipping the part where he flips his luscious mane (he doesn't have one), and holding out his hand with a flower in his claws to ask for their love. For some reason, his attempts never work the way it does in his books. Birds don't sing with him, squirrels don't make flower crowns with him, nor do deer prance about with him. Regardless, he won't give up, and will continue to search for that special someone he can spoil with his special moss collection. (It's very soft, they will be sure to love it!) The spiral is confident and sure that his moment is just yet to come, and no one has the heart to tell him otherwise. |

| Kaitaka's approach to love is very pure-hearted, and the swamp folk have slowly begun to recognize the spiral's efforts and try to help him with his approach. Zuphlas had even offered some of his flowers, both to offer as a gift and for him to wear to hide the swamp smell. Olivine too has made him little figurines he can use to practice scenarios and work out what to say in situations with Palus. Surely with all of their help, this prince charming is bound to meet their special someone! ... He just hopes they don't mind all the toridaes. |
