Biography
Dark shard of Spiritus’ soul. He isn't objectively good or evil, but his presence makes you feel cold and alone. Just like the shadows his scales blend in to, he's a silent observer, following Spurius and Spiritus as they make the decisions for this strange trio.
He harbors Spiritus' anguish and despair from the horrors that Spiritus felt were constantly happening on a daily basis, giving Llyr a more pessimistic outlook on life. Unlike Spurius, he's fallen deeper into the darkness and despair that writhes inside him than he'd care to admit, leading to him feeling like there's no hope for him to be happy, and thus wanting to bury any traces of light that may remain inside him. Although it sounds like he spends his days wallowing in self-pity, he actually prefers to bottle it up and cast it aside, pretending that everything's fine when it's obvious that it's not. Spurius understands this more than anyone and tries to comfort him, but it's rather difficult to comfort a being who has only ever felt darkness and negative emotions since he was brought into existence.
Spiritus has an affinity to Wildclaws, hence why both Spurius and Llyr are Wildclaws. Despite being shards of a Pearlcatcher's soul, both share more social and tactical traits with Wildclaws than they do Pearlcatchers. Though, they do share some traits with Pearlcatchers, the most prominent being their love for gossip. You oftentimes might see Spurius nestled in a corner of the lair with Llyr, talking about the latest gossip in or outside the clan.
