"QUINTIS"
the Trickster ELUSIVE ・ CUNNING ・ CLANDESTINE "Quintis." It is the name he goes by - so far. He changes it casually at his own whim once in a while. He is a wanderer, no one really knows where he's from and where he has been or even his real name. A savvy flirt, as a shameless charlatan and a trickster he sometimes seems to live truer to the reputation of the Shadow flight and he acts strangely plausibly as an envoy both to Arcane and Shadow flights. Quintis accompanies Daumon to Tangled Wood in ambassador duties, always deluding his true origin as Arcane flighter. He is a skilled mage and even more skilled humanshifter, and he brought the knowledge of sapiens transformation to Queen's Revenge. The Trickster came to Queen's Revenge in the dead of the night. The clan usually did not take strangers in out of regular business hours (patrons were an exception, just as the night market events were) but somehow the imperial talked himself inside the clan's resident premises around the hour of the wolf. Night guards told to fetch the first ambassador that the messenger could come across, preferably either Ilestel or Katil of the Arcane flight - maybe they could explain why an imperial of their flight kin felt the need to spend the night with their clan. Daumon was the first ambassador who happened to be awake in the right time and the right place - or wrong time and wrong place depending on how you look at it. Daumon was already a longstanding member of the clan and an appreciated envoy to the Shadow flight. Queen's Revenge wanted to maintain ties to as many clans as possible across all the flights for trading reasons, and the Tangled Wood happened to be a neighboring flight, sharing some hostility with the countering element Light. Maintaining diplomatic relations to Shadow clans was important, and Daumon was excellent if solemn in handling the "tricksters" of the shadows. What proved to be completely baffling for the Shadow ambassador was that at first, he was tricked to assume the clan's odd guest was his kin. The stranger had unusually dark Arcane eyes and everything in his mannerisms spoke for Shadow flight - elusive, almost slippery appearance and behavior, just a little bit too silky and delightful snicker, riddles, sarcasm and jokes sprinkled into his replies. "And he has a devilish smile", Daumon thought and could feel his heart thumping. How was this, this scion making him nervous? "You can call me Quintis", the stranger smirked with a fairly unnerving toothy grin revealing his canines and all the rest of his teeth as well, "for now. Pleasure to meet you."
