She welcomes you with a practiced smile, all idle pleasantries and no warmth. Her office is decorative and ornate, but exudes the same artificiality. Sunlight pours in from the open window, framing her face in a soft glow.
“It is a wonderful day to be Alabastean.” She greets, and you nod in turn. “I really am terribly busy, you know. I do hope this is important.”

Her Honor Vladislava is the current mayor of Alabaster. Having been a prominent figure in the town since it's inception, and a close friend of Guillermo Beltram, it was no wonder she took up the mantle of mayor after Beltram's untimely death. She won the elections by a landslide, as if her competition was inconsequential.
She's mellowed out in comparison to her younger years; a once passionate, outspoken, and introspective thinker now nothing more than a clinical smile on the newspaper. She's retreated to a much more private lifestyle, something many would note to be out of character, causing no end to the hushed whispers of political conspiracies. She knows better than to humor them. But she's born witness to something during her years of service that has no doubt changed her.
Despite her presently reclusive nature, Vladislava takes her mayoral duties very seriously. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Alabaster on the map and has her ways of keeping a tight hold on the Beltram Mining Company, regardless of the current CEO's disdain for her. Most Alabasteans have nothing bad to say about her work ethic and what she's done for the town. And, if by chance they had any grievances, they would never be voiced aloud. She makes sure of it.
