Biography

Crimson joined the clan at the same time as his sister Carmine. Being shy, they mostly stuck together until they got used to their environment. They did eventually open up though, mostly connecting to the other musical souls of the clan through music, being both fond of playing the violin. They briefly formed a violin quartet with Sifselm and a Dirge Fiddlefiend that had decided to stick around the area, but it broke off after a while as they explored other interests.

Now that he's less anxious, Crimson has decided he'd like to move out - see new places, meet new people.

---

This might have been a mistake, Crimson finds himself thinking almost immediately when entering the lair of the Fae Courts and his stomach twists at the sheer amount of dragons and somehow not dragons already here. Large crowds were something he could deal with on stage, but in your average social environment he was nervous like any other newcomer would be. The Fiddlefiend in his grasp whispers soft reassurances while cradled in his claws but it doesn't seem to be doing much good, particularly when a flamboyant Spiral approaches him suddenly with nothing but sheer excitement glittering in their huge, green eyes and an audible gasp.

"I know you!" she exclaims not quite loudly enough to draw attention from everyone nearby, "Ohhh, I just love your music! What are you even doing here? Oh man, I gotta tell Shuffle and Tanzen you're here, they're gonna lose it!"

Sensing the inherent need to flee that she was instilling in him, the overenthusiastic Spiral grins and coils around herself a little sheepishly, claw tips clicking at each other. "I'm sorry," she begins, her voice softer now but still bleeding with excitement, "I didn't think I'd ever get to see you perform live after the quartet split, but I can hear you still practicing on the wind and knew you were residing nearby. I'm Galeo, and probably a little too excited to see that you've come to visit, heh."

Crimson blinked a couple of times, unsure of how exactly she was able to hear him but also unsure if questioning it was the correct move right now. "V-visit? No, I'm looking to relocate and stumbled across this area but it already seems quite populated..." his grip tightens around Fiddlefiend which causes his companion to whine on it's strings in complaint.

"Nonsense, a lot of us are only visiting!" She beams at him, "Myself and a few others are crew on a ship that swings by on our trade route. Sometimes other dragons just get lost in the forest and need some help finding their way through it-" Galeo appears to abruptly remember something and begins to dig through her robes before procuring an orange stone bound in copper wire and hanging from a hempen braid, offering it the nervous Nocturne. "You should definitely take this!"

Even as he reaches for the pendant, Crimson's response is considerably more relaxed than what his voice was capable of a few moments ago. "And just what is...this?"

Galeo only giggles, a mischievous grin curling on her maw. "A friend."

Crimson regards the excitable dragon with a curious yet scrutinizing stare, his brow arching in suspicion. "It's not going to eat me, is it?"

"Gods, no! Of course not. But if you get lost, you can offer them food and they'll bring you right back to this village." She leans in, placing a hand over the stone in his clutch and whispering so quietly that Crimson still struggled to hear what was being said, "If you give them fish, they might just start doing it because they like you."

Unaware of her intention, Crimson blurts out "Why fish?" to which the stone vibrates in his hand and an orange mist begins to... leak out? Alarmed, he drops the pendant and both dragons take a step back, nothing short of amused glee on the Spiral's features and abject horror on his own until a small, quadrupedal form begins to take shape in the odd smoke. Squinting through the obscuring mist, Crimson thought he could make out the shape of a cat? Uh oh.

Sure enough, a rather small feline appears, eyes staring holes into him expectantly and tail twitching in anticipation. "Fish?"

Breaking into full-on laughter, Galeo pats the Nocturne on the back, seeming to congratulate him. "Well, you've done it now. Guess you better go find something for this little guy to eat."
