Dusk has always respected his father, especially for his actions surrounding Dawn’s birth. While he feels bad being away from the Lair so often, he always has dinner with his family every time he comes back.

A fellow denizen of the deep, Dusk and Angrboda will often race to see whose aquatic movement abilities are superior. Angrboda wins sometimes, she almost lets Dusk win others. Almost.

No matter how much Dusk misses during his time away from the Clan, he never loses his love for his baby sister. Strictly speaking, she’s a few hours older, but if she can use her situation to her advantage and hustle more candy out of unsuspecting dragons, Dusk can act the big brother.

Born to Krazol and Purastella, Dusk was always drawn to the water. Perhaps something in his Guardian blood created an attraction to it. As a hatchling, he loved to swim, but more than that, he loved to dive. He caused his parents more than a few headaches when they hadn’t seen him for some time, only for him to have disappeared into a nearby pond.

Dusk is a friendly enough dragon, but he spends most of his time in the ocean. It used to be that he was content with the shallow pools of occasional rainwater to make his discoveries in.Now that he is fully grown, however, the only nearby body of water that can hold him is the waterway between the Sunbeam Ruins, Tangled Wood, and Viridian Labyrinth.

Dusk primarily acts as an oceanic scavenger for Lumenstar, and occasionally as an auxiliary diplomat to the Water Flight (it's really just so he can swim in their water without them getting too mad). He spends long periods away, and returns with massive nets full of fish, chests, trinkets and assorted flotsam.

A love of the ocean has inspired Dusk to catalog all his discoveries. While not a scholar in the truest sense, and quite far from a philosopher, Dusk’s love for knowledge drives him to the deepest depths for the sake of information and scientific discovery.

By the nature of Dusk’s work, however, he is not very “in-sync” with the rest of the Clan. His long periods away continue to make him lag further and further behind the current events, making him feel more and more like an outsider in his own Lair.
