Biography

.....................

who are you? why do you hatch so many eggs?
— hi hi! my name is koa and I love collecting dragons of all generations! I love goofy projects, writing lore, and buying umas for my imp collection. outside of fr, I'm a freelance author specializing in fantasy and character interaction! when not doing that, I create genshin and honkai avatars for the game vrchat! I'm currently dealing with a stressful breakup and bad health issues, so please be patient with me while I work on recovery! I'm very friendly though, so always feel free to reach out for a chat if you're up for it!

can I buy (insert dragon) from you?
— feel free to ask! the worst I can say is no!

will you write lore for me?
— sure! I love to write so if you want something for your dragon, just let me know! I don't mind!

is your triple heather for sale?
— at the moment, no! I'd only really be interested in maybe trading them for a pistachio, driftwood, latte, or overcast triple, though I would consider other purple range triples too!

other things to note:
— none of my familiars are canon unless they're named! I use my dragons for bonding only.
— my lore isn't exclusive to my lair, so if you wanna write a dragon into this little universe of mine, feel free to send me a message! any dragons born and sold here will often come with my own little bit of lore, but you're free to delete it / alter it in any way! (this has been indefinitely paused due to health issues, but I plan on getting back to it in the future!)
— my favorite colors, in no particular order, are pistachio, driftwood, latte, overcast, iris, storm, algae, vermilion, strawberry, chocolate, copper, lapis, and most of the purple range!
— wind (woosh) --> ice (chilly)

....................................................how the land came to be.

Long, long ago, there existed a set of royal triplets. One brother, two sisters, growing amid a field of flowers and the leftover dregs of war. They always got along when they were young, staying out until dusk and rising at dawn for another day of adventures.

When the time eventually arrived for their coming of age ceremony, their desires manifested.

The brother, the youngest of the three, found solace amongst the forges and metals of the kingdom to the south. His talent with metals were unrivaled, and every smithy within the land attempted to sway him with riches and treasures. The young man had a gift, his weapons and armor allowing his kingdom’s army to suffer fewer losses.

The middle sister, fair and kind, lost herself amongst dusty tomes and expeditions. She never truly settled, but her allegiance was always to home, the western kingdom. No matter how elusive the treasure, or how vague the location, she would find it. Such feats earned her fame and fortune, and a thousand souls vied for a chance to follow her into the great unknown.

The oldest sister, only by a minute (but a minute held overhead nonetheless), grew into a beautiful young dragon. Her penchant for pretty granted her use of exquisite silks and divine patterns, earning her the rightful title of the best seamstress the north eastern kingdom had to offer.

Their exploits and achievements were carried across the lands, tangled in windswept song and the exchange of coins. Soon whispers of an indestructible blade cascaded through the fields. Some spoke of a compass that would always point to invaluable treasure. Even more sung praises for a mask capable of altering your whole appearance.

Thus, the admiration turned to greed.

The truth of those whispered words would not unravel for years to come. But oh did plenty seek, and the peaceful fragility folded easily beneath the pressures of blind desire. Those the siblings once trusted turned their backs on them, and turmoil overtook the land. A haze befell the minds of all and the compulsion to control all three treasures consumed even the most hardy of soldiers.

The siblings were forced to flee, casting their lives to the side and disappearing into the wilds so that they may live the rest of their days in solace. But their pursuers never relented, never gave up, driving them to exhaustion in their panic to elude.

On the eve of their twenty-seventh birthdays, a brilliant light burst from the barren wastelands. It belonged to no kingdom, pure white and ethereal. It coiled into the sky, like a mighty dragon rearing its head in battle, and then it was gone—and with it, something in the world changed.

The haze lifted, and the talk of what became The Three Fates, faded into tall tales and forgotten fables. Thousands of years passed, bringing generation after generation of new hatchlings, until only the bravest or foolhardy dragons set forth in search.

Though time would pass, the lands would never forget.

....................................................about the first arrivals.

Dragons "born" in the wake of Yukari's creation of Mallowview fell into two categories; deities and mortals. Deities were powerful dragons capable of a great deal many things, usually embodying a concept, or handful of concepts, Mallowview relied upon. Some were "good," helping the mortals with their affairs and providing assistance when they could. Some were "bad," preferring solitude and a life outside of mortal affairs when able to be avoided.

Mortals grasped what had been given to them. They formed society with careful claws. Economy, hierarchy, justice—everything a new world needed to survive. Years passed, and so with them came the addition of more dragons, families melding into one and carrying on countless legacies.

As the world of Mallowview thrived, so did the dragons within. Kingdoms formed, one to the north east, one to the south, and one to the west.

Moonrise, to the north east, a land of whimsy and beauty. Connected the strongest to Yukari, it is a land of song and dance, ceremony and theater. Many arrive here seeking blessings from their god.

To the south, the mighty kingdom of Ambervale dominates the mountains. Named for the golden trees dotting its country side year round, dragons here spend their days mining for gems and forging weapons of grace.

Westward, one will find the port kingdom of Tidewood. A social land, dragons grow up ready for adventure on its docks. One may always find the latest drink or valuable bit of loose-lipped information in the local taverns.

No longer lonely, Yukari took to seclusion, and the story of Mallowview's creation faded into a mere legend whispered to young hatchlings. When the world needs them most, however, they will return; for no other soul will ever be abandoned as they were.
