Biography

arcana:

circle:
sidhe

occupation:
insect farmer

the tundra are an amiable breed, but life is ruthless and harsh to any hatchling born far from the nest and without parents. wyrm's egg had been left behind, whether lost or abandoned or through tragedy, and when finally scavenged by the keen of eye amid rock and waste he was far, far from his roots. his egg traded hands over and over, until he finally felt enough stirs of warmth to hatch, but even then no dragon stepped forward to look after him. he grew up lacking a sense of love, belonging, and even a name.

when the first clan left, he stayed behind, wandering until he found a new temporary home. always accepted but never embraced, wyrm learned to fend for himself, and this usually meant taking first and asking later. having few personal possessions of his own, he makes use of any tools lying around as he needs them and takes any food left around when hungry. the ridgeback philosophy of borrowing became his creed before he had even learned what it was, and as soon as he was exposed to the ridgeback race a determination grew inside him. life had hatched him as something tender and fluffy and then demanded he act with claws and cunning. he would evolve and beat life at its own cruel game.

with this goal in his heart, he set out to find one final clan to settle down in once and for all so to start earning his fortune and buy the scrolls necessary. the shadowy carillon clan seemed a ripe candidate, as well as being home to sidhe. here he has done his best to establish what feels like a permanent home, but he is still far from a neighborly presence.

despite never having seen dragonhome and feeling spiteful about his birth breed, wyrm embraces his earth heritage. one of the added perks of becoming a ridgeback was gaining their tunneling prowess; he is deeply interested in all things below ground. soil, roots, the composition of rocks and the hearts of mountains... and even the critters that burrow through them. bugs, pale and wriggling in the deep soil, are his companions. he enjoys watching and studying them and runs an insect farm that sells to some of the clan eateries. when taking up residence in the clan, he finally named himself as a sign of his decided identity; wyrm, after his crawly, earthy friends.
