Welcome fellow friends, beings and dragon appreciators! I am Ceri and my dragon obsession will slowly but surely consume me. As an aspiring zoologist/ecologist I take a lot of my inspiration for my dragons from various different biomes and living species, but I am also especially fond of video games and their bestiaries! I am trying to create my own world here out of the things I love, weaving some of it together with FR lore. :)

FR+9 but I function like a bat and sleep through the morning so hi! I am here around same time as most East Coast americans.
My spatial and visual perception is awful which is why I love scouring through helpful resources and kindly request other people for assistance with stuff like spacing things out!

My main purpose in Flight Rising is to design dragons that are aesthetically appealing to me and construct working lore around them! In my lore themes you will see mostly medieval fantasy themes intertwined with some speculative biology and many aspects of FR's own lore have been utilized in my clan lore or act as a loose inspiration!

You may have noticed I am very fond of creating forum threads with different dragon prompts and scrying prompts. I would like to combine these somewhere, someday.

Q: Can I buy [insert dragon here]?
A: Generally speaking all dragons that reside in a lore or project tab are not for sale for the time being. I have a tendency of going through my dragons every now and then and they will respectively be moved either to Sales or Wayfinder tabs incase I consider selling them!
I do not necessarily mind people messaging and saying they have interest in a particular dragon; I can just make a note and message you if I ever was to fall out of love with a dragon and happen to sell them.

Q: What policies do you have over dragon sales?
A: Unless otherwise stated, I am nearly always up to trading dragons for gems, treasure, mixed payments and eggs! My ratio tends to be 1:1000. I do not mind waiting for 7 days and putting up a PA for someone to gather enough currency - can go longer while too if there is partial payment up front for pricier dragons. I tend to be open to haggling.

Q: Will you get offended if I offer x price for a dragon?
A: No, never! If I write something like "please offer/open to offers" it means that I have not come up with a good price yet and I would not expect anyone to be a mindreader! I know offers are stressful to people, and I am still figuring pricing out myself.

Q: Can you breed these dragons for me? I am interested in hatchlings!
A: Certainly! I am usually happy to breed dragons as long as I have lair space.

Q: What's up with your G1 dragon pricing?
A: Inexperience! I honestly just kind of try to guess prices based on similar colored dragons in AH or trying to imagine how much I'd be willing to pay for them. As such I can both over- and undervalue dragons unintentionally but I tend to readjust prices if I feel like they are not right. I do not focus much on profits or such.

Q: Why did you not accept my CR?
A: I likely missed it or forgot about it! I try to do a good job at keeping track of all my notifications, but I am immensely Scatterbrained and can sometimes just quickly skim through things. If I have not responde or reacted to something, do not hesitate to private message me!

Q: Why do you not respond on forums / your own forum threads?
A: I most likely ran out of energy. I am fond of making threads based off of different themes and seeing what everyone else has to show, and I appreciate everyone's responses to my forum threads. I just often feel like I cannot give the proper response that everyone deserve and I do not want to leave some people unacknowledged if energy does run out, so I tend to play it safe and not post responses if I think I will not have the energy to do so. If you want my attention on something specific, feel free to ask a question or DM me, I'll answer those!

Q: How did you find my lair?
A: When I see an interesting dragon either browsing the forums or the dragon search (I especially like looking at g1s and what people do with them), I take a visit to the lair to give some likes to the person's dragons and appreciate the potentially wonderful lair arrangements people have! I also like leaving a comment when doing so, if lair owner is fine with profile comments.
