BRESTAL
(Breh-STALL)

Short-tempered, but strongly ethical, Brestal is a young adult Skydancer who will stand up and fight for anyone. In school, he was often the kid who walked away with a broken tooth after trying to stop a bully from beating someone else up; but subsequent conflicts and suspensions have toughened him up, making him a sturdy physical fighter despite his naturally lithe body. He doesn't get into fights as much in his adult life, sticking to a relatively peaceful lifestyle, but his strong moral compass and sense of justice still tempts him towards trying to help someone who's been ostracized whenever he can. In more intimate moments, he turns around completely, becoming a calm and mellow friend who's happy to crack a joke now and then.

Brestal worked as part of a rescue team for some time along with a fellow Skydancer named Andon, through which he met someone that hasn't left his mind since he saw him in passing: a familiar dragon who went by the name of Mildew. Suddenly stricken with emotions he couldn't understand, Brestal fled the territory Mildew was in and found his way to the Sabaron Clan by accident. It is here, from the other residents of the clan, that he discovered he may be a transcendent: someone who lived and died in a completely different world, before being born again on Sornieth.

Coming to grips with new memories that are returning to him and the emotions that are following, Brestal is working up the courage to return to the Windswept Plateau, and meet again with his lover from a past life.
