ALWAID: INNER CLAN - LEGENDARY DRAGON - GUARDIAN STAR - HE/HIM
Alwaid knows Enif well. He and Enif both originate from ancient lands of sand and moondust. Enif and Alwaid are devoted to one another, but spend much of their time apart. Enif desires to live amongst mortal dragons while Alwaid has a responsibility to guard the heavens. Alwaid prefers to avoid getting his claws dirty with the mess that is mortality, but does his best to guide and protect Enif -- even if he worries about the ways in which mortality will change Enif. Despite the time they spend apart, and the new dragons they find, the two are bonded for eternity. Enif will not speak of his time as an assassin to Alwaid, but the two are well aware of this fact.
He rarely visits dragons of the clan. Amongst the clan of the burning nettle, Alwaid is said to resemble the dragon who had created the first lute. Little do they know he is in fact a manifestation of that dragon. Many dragons confuse Alwaid with Draccus. Perhaps the two are one and the same. Alwaid's favorite realm of the clan is near the sea. At dusk or dawn, a dragon may glimpse him gazing at the distant shore of the clan's islands, playing an instrument.
Alwaid loves camels and sometimes visits dragons around the lands of the burning nettle in the shape of a mother camel. He also may present himself as a magical flail that offers advice to others.
