WHOOSH The Windblown Wanderer Clan Role: Travelling Merchant Mate: None Pronouns: he/him Bio: Whoosh is a true wind dragon who enjoys nothing more than travelling, seeing new faces and new places every couple of days. For a while, he didn't even have an official clan--didn't need one, since clans are often so friendly to travelers passing through! He would get permission to gather whatever unique things he thought he could get some treasure for in each clan's territory and then move on to the next place, doing the same thing. And, of course, trading or selling the things he'd acquired at every clan as well. In his downtime or if stuck somewhere longer than anticipated, he'd turn to his favorite activity (other than flying), the game of checkers. He always carries around a beat up old game box with a couple of pieces missing and replaced by colorful shells. He's probably taught more dragons the game of checkers than any single other dragon on Sornieth, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Whoosh uses his wind magic to fast travel from one location to another. Or, at least, that's the intent, but he's still learning to control those powers and sometimes he calls too much wind and it blows him completely off course. One time that this happened, he found himself on the edge of a cliff in an open part of the Viridian Labyrinth. That cliff, by sheer coincidence, was home to a clan that consisted mostly of Banescales, and after doing his travelling salesman bit, Whoosh realized part of him didn't want to leave. That had never happened to him before, and the feeling both confused and excited him in equal measure. He spoke with River, who agreed to let him carve out a place in their lair to be his home base, so to speak. Whoosh was overjoyed by the prospect, and though he still travels around selling things, he always comes back to the Burning Claws in between trips. |
