Sins has gone from student to professor at the Laputan academy. However, what defines him most is his staticky voice and his attachment to a parasitic cassette tape. The parasite, named “et al”, used to be a perpetually morphing audio artifact. He got a little too cocky as a student and did not read the label of “do not touch”, which lead to him being compelled to consume the entire artifact and manifest as et al. The two now get along well, but Serafine will still playfully refer to Dr. Sims as “Cassette Cruncher” or “Dr. Sins”.
