Clan Roles List
Clan Patriarch / Matriarch:
Roles: Keeping peace within the clan, decision making. Role assignment. Clan politics. Could also be considered a 'king/queen', though many clans dislike such titles.
Guard Captain / Guards:
Role: May be posted inside clan boundaries or sent to deal with external threats. Keeps peace both within the clan and without. Lead by a guard captain. Often sent to escort precious cargo or merchants to and from their destinations. May be stationed at clan jails (if one is present) to maintain order in clan prisoners.

Role: Patrol the borders of clans, often from the sky. Warns of early approaching danger or visitors to the clan. Sent with merchants to create the safest route

Stable Master / Beast Keeper / Beast Trainer:
Role: May include aviary master, beastclan keepers, and aquatic beast keepers. In charge of maintenance and upkeep of clan familiars. May also train or breed said familiars for profit or for battle

Role: Rarely seen throughout the Clan, as the Scavenger/foragers spend the majority of their time on the outskirts of the territory, gathering rare herbs and anything remotely useful to the clan's craftsmen.

Role: Spend the majority of their time within a clinic or hospital within the clan. May work with herbalists to craft potions used to heal the sick or wounded. May also heal through the use of magic, though this form of healing is rarer.

Insect gatherer:
Role: Spends the majority of time outside of the clan, hunting insects. Small, agile dragons with strong wings are best suited for this role. Insects are used as food, as well as materials in crafting (crushed insects = dyes and glue), and jewelry pieces (shells and wings of insects)

Role: With a similar goal to the insect gatherer, the beekeepers gain insect resources for the clan. However, they do so by domesticating the docile bees of the land. This process allows clan crops and flowers to be pollinated year-round. Honey is also created by these insects.
