Prologue - Kingdom of Ascension
My kingdom is at war with some Aethers. I've managed to escape before things got worse.... Where will I go now?

Entry 1
I fled from my homelands, my wings taking me as far as they could as I soared down towards the Wispwillow Grove. I knew the shadows were home to tricksters, but there was nowhere else to run to. Not that I thought of at the moment.

Before I could get much farther, a Spiral with flowers tucked into her suit and a Fae with dust covering his attire approached. They gave me a strange look, nodding at each other before beckoning me forward to their lair.

To put it aptly, it was certainly welcoming. It didn't feel entirely unfriendly, yet even with the many dragons of different elements I was...offput by how many eyes I felt on my scales. They gave me a small letter, addressed to me from my mother, Amethyst detailing how she hopes I am safe wherever I am.

The lack of communication between me and the rest of the lair led me to leave as soon as possible, but not without saying goodbyes to those that did welcome me on the rest of the lair's behalf.

Entry 2
I didn't want to stay in Crow Callers long. An Aether apparently named Aodhaigh was the one to show me my room... I don't believe she's as friendly as she seems.

Entry 3
When some dragons of this new clan found me tangled near their home in the foxfire bramble, they detangled me and led me through their hidden paths to their home. They welcome me warmly and showed me exeptional trust from day one. Granted, I was not really a threat, weary from my travel as I was. They let me rest, integrated me into their community and as the shadow Domain no longer felt like home we moved to a lush delta in nature territory.
I have been here for some time now, hard to believe but I even found a mate, Ultraviolet and together we have hatchlings! And yet. I grow uneasy again and with every day the desire to move on grows. My mate will stay with her home clan, but she has promised to stay in contact and that I will always have a home with her if I wish to.

Entry 4
I sailed across the inland sea and ended up in a bustling town in the Windswept Plateau. At first glance it was lovely: the buildings were beautiful, the food abundant and the dragons friendly. It did seem like they were used to having travelers pass through and knew the line between family and "outsiders". They would treat me nice, but it wouldn't be another home to me.
I decided this place would work fine as a layover, but I shouldn't stay for long. My intuition was right, as I soon ran into a problem. There were so many Aethers there, it was unbelievable! I reluctantly stayed at the inn for a couple of nights, but couldn't get comfortable and eventually left.

Entry 5
I arrived in the Arcane flight just in time to hear the news of ancient Dusthide dragons returning. What a joy it must be to emerge from a den and take in the wider world! I'd like to meet one and swap stories. Perhaps I'll cross paths with a traveling Dusthide someday. I'll keep my eyes open.
