her best friend is derecho! they grew up together. despite being young adults with newfound senses of responsibility, they are both still complete menaces. do not separate.

the kind-of child of two traveling, adventurous dragons, she was raised communally within the outpost, like many hatchlings. she was taken in by one of the nomadic harpy families at the Outpost, and became fast friends with their youngest son. As adults, they live largely within the Outpost, working as intermediates between the many dragons and beastclan that pass through. though she has a positive relationship with her parents, she treasures the harpy family that fostered her.

The plains and broken earth surrounding the Outpost is home to a harpy clan, which holds a strong alliance with the outpost's permanent residents. Families of harpies within this clan are primarily nomadic, conducting trade with dragons and other beastclan merchants along the web of trade routes the outpost sits upon. As the Cloudwatch Outpost has grown, harpy architecture has spread across the stone spires, incorporating itself into the outpost's colorful, chaotic sprawl. Goods from this clan are important to the Outpost's economy, with raw materials being brought in and fine pigments exported out. Harpy warriors from the clan are often employed as guards and sentinels at the Outpost, and it's not uncommon to see the matriarch's storm seekers flapping around the temporary settlement of a nomadic harpy family when danger is about, keeping an eye out for their safety.

being a young adult, she often likes to hang out and chat with other residents her age, and is good friends with sturgeon (who her harpy parents don't think is the best influence, even if she's so nice) and mossy (who is often a little too busy with her apprenticeship to hang out outside of work)! she does occasionally see the other local rascals Staccato and Tiero, but they don't often pay her mind; Wren is too focused on his training to be interested in her friendly small talk; the brothers Pothos and Phobetor are buddies of hers, though, and like to hang out.
