Ava // songbird // mated to maya and sula The youngest in the line of a royal light clan, Ava was rather spoiled as a child. Her whole family doted on her, and she thrived under the attention. As the youngest of many, she was left to pursue whatever interest she saw fit, and gladly threw herself into music. Ava has a lovely voice, gaining her the nickname of Songbird. She met Sula while wandering around the royal gardens one day, where he was tending the hummingbirds. He was a visiting chef, travelling from clan to clan until he found one where he would fit in. They ended up talking for hours about his travels, and continued to do so for weeks, meeting every day to talk. They grew quite fond of one another, and when Sula decided to travel to the next clan, Ava went with him. They travelled for a few years, Sula cooking for the clans while Ava entertained them with her singing, until they reached the Weathering clan. A year later, Maya, her childhood best friend, found her way to the clan. Ava, Sula, and Maya have been nearly inseparable since. After living comfortably in with the Weathering clan for many years, Sula caught a terrible sickness and became deathly ill. Ava searched desperately for a cure, anything to save the one she loved. After nearly giving up hope and watching her beloved drift closer to death every day, a brightly colored Nocturne came to answer their desperate plea. The next day the two left their clan for a seaside cave on the icy southern shore, putting their trust in the word of a soft spoken Imperial, who promised he could save Sula. The recovery process was long and slow, but Sula's health has improved dramatically, and the two have grown comfortable in their new clan. While the doctor advises the two stay and complete the recovery process, they're not sure they'll ever end up leaving. Ava spends her free time in the library and accompanying Hestia on patrol, who seems to have taken a shine to the Imp. Her evenings are spent in the garden, her solitary voice echoing sweetly off the vaulted ceiling as she sings about the sunlight and blue skies of her old home. |
