Biography
The Frigid Treasure Hunter
Mala Al'dir is her dear travel companion. The two met on a group caravan to cross the Shifting Expanse. As flying is dangerous in the electric sky, parties must take percaution to travel on the ground in magically nonconductive carts. For the dragons too large to fit in the carts, special Stormwear is lent to them to be worn at all times during the journey, never to be removed for risk of electrocution from above. In one of the half-dozen carts rolling along sat Janek, staring thoughtfully at the dry plains through the window. She was sat beside another Nocturne, threatening to drool on her shulder. Across from her was a Longneck. The traveller occupied the whole of the seat, which was large enough to accomidate two fully grown dragons. Janek pitied her from out of her periphery, assuming the Longneck got rewarded with her own spot from dicrimination or worse. The traveller did not seem to mind, however.
"Did you need something?"
Janek regarded her with concealed surprise. The Longneck watched her expectantly, her cloven hooves on her knees with arms stretched tensely out.
"You keep glancing at me. I assure you, I paid for my spot on this caravan. I will be no trouble if you do not trouble me."
Janek took a moment to respond.
