Teddy grew up in a small tundra town and was an amazing flyer amongst his peers against the harsh winter weather. He was laid back and loved running around in the snow. When he was old enough he was drafted for the war as air support. He became one of the bests in his flight, and grew very close to his team. He traveled all over Sornieth during the war. One day over the Highland scrub, a fleet on his side was pushing into a battle against and enemy fleet, He and his team were called for air support. The enemy fleet seemed to have the same idea, and Teddys team were immediately swarmed by the enemy in a huge dog-fight. It wasn't Teddys first dog fight, but it was his worst, and his last. It was dangerous stormy weather, rain pelting down on them and Teddys fleet was losing the dog fight. He was severely wounded from the enemy fleet. Teddy spotted his comrade being overpowered and dove in to help him, but another enemy dived after him and bit down on his wing, using his claws to tear it apart. With one final blow, he plummeted out of the sky and into the earth, smashing into the crust.

Teddy had died that day on that battlefield. He should have stayed dead. His body was retrieved right after the fight, the remaining survivors carrying him home. And apparently the others who died, too...

Teddy was the only one successfully reanimated, with the parts of his comrades replacing the destroyed parts of his body. His wings were completely replaced by his comrade he had tried to save earlier. The only thing they couldn't save were his eyes, he would be permanently blind. He would never be able to fly again, either. He didn't know which was worse.

He was a bitter, old dragon. Resentful, and lashed out at others. He would often wander out on his own into the shrieking wilds, until one day no one could find him. He became a very good listener, and would listen to the sound of sparrows in order to find food. This group of sparrows liked having this big mean dragon around to scare off other predators. He guarded the sparrow tree, and in return the sparrows would bring him food. Sitting in the soft grass and feeling the gentle breeze and the rustling of leaves made him appreciate being alive again.
