"the gladiators" ━ [war] ♀ ISFP ━

a foul scent of ashes may be your only warning if ever you had the misfortune of meeting the wyrre, one whose trail often consists of nothing but the scorched earth. the beast with two jaws who is known to roam the crypt, blocking off entrance to the summit, the source of countless bitter myths.

if any dragon has ever faced combat with the wyrre, they definitely did not live to tell the story. both a beloved servant and companion to the crown who responds kindly to head pats, but not to trespassers.

the spirit of carnage

of gnashing jaws and unreputable strength. the stories of wyrre's presence seem as if they are personifications of the mountain- however that's far from the truth.

the sacrifices of the many who now flow within the veins of the furnace, the fuel needed to forge authority within the ashfall waste. metallurgy is the soul, the pride of this land- the home of goods exported throughout sornieth, who's quality is unmatched by anyone else. this is how we live up to Mather's expectations.

such work can only be done with enough power, the power of the mountains that supply endless spewing magma. where those who are thrown are to be forever chained by its dread, their flesh and bones burnt to dust as they lay powerless. to have the fibers of their once breathing forms disintegrated into the fueling embers that now flow among the obsidian, souls who are now naught but pieces of a grander being, a grander purpose, the heart of the mountain. one who can only continue its creation of unimaginable heat for as long as there is misery within its golden rivers.

the miscommunication is where one begins to believe this mountain is alive. in the eyes of its authorities, it is only a furnace, and each sacrifice is a single pebble of coal.

with such power in a single place, a second was born, feeding off of the chaotic energy emitted at each death. a spirit with the consciousness required to take orders and the fortitude to guard such horrors- its presence may threaten any who dare to oppose. and so was born the spirit of the carnage, the cereberus of the summit.

the irony in a feared beast who hides in the mountain with no care for what goes on outside, for she is not at fault for the disappearances nor the extinction of the local pearlcatchers- but who wants to blame the moon?
