Levant didn't know what compelled him to leave the Shrieking Wilds, but he couldn't resist. He told Auttum (the leader of the clan) that he was going away to find something, when he pestered him Levant said that he simply didn't know. At which Auttum mumbled, "You're acting just like an Guardian". Levant then went to search for the thing that he was looking for, whatever it was. He searched and searched, but could not find it. Then he saw a beautiful Guardian, one that was barely alive and digging a den. He did not realize it untill it happened, but he had used his magic to help the Guardian make the den. Levant then went into the den and curled up inbetween her massive shoulders.
