42618.png Wispy talons hit the ground, leaving no imprint. Pitch liquid fell from her claws, gently, the soft drip, drip, dripping on stone left unheard by those around her.

So this is what it is to be a ghost.

She did not remember the day she died, but she remembered the moment after. How she felt nothing but sadness. She could not even remember her family, yet upon seeing those like her, the kinship she felt was unmistakable. What were they like? Had they loved her? Had she, them?

And so she stayed, imagining what the world would be like with the memories of her home.
