Biography
He uses his gliders to dig into the ground and camouflage himself. His head sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of him, which can easily pass as a pile of snow. He sits completely still in hope that a bird will perch nearby that he can kill. It's probably not the most efficient form of hunting, but it's what he prefers.
You squint your eyes. What looks to be a curvy pipe sticks out of the ground in the distance. Hoping that's a sign of civilization in these barren ice fields, you head towards it. As you approach, you focus harder, trying to tell if you're hallucinating. Was that a... Banescale head?
Fear builds in your stomach as you get closer. You step within ten feet if it and know for certain it's a Banescale head sticking out of a snodrift, but you don't yet know if it's alive. For all you know, it could be a stuffed head to ward off other dragons.
To both your relief and surprise, the head shifts to better analyze you with its beady eyes. The movement reveals that the snowdrift you'd seen before was actually it's wings and body. "Now, what's a wanderer like you doing out in the icefields all alone?"
