Biography
Khepri
Fae Female
Neutral Good
Clan Matriarch - Hoard Caretaker
* Khepri arrived in the clan shortly after it was united as such under Rook. She was a nomad and a trader before she settled down, so she had a very large hoard for a dragon her size. She settled down purely because her hoard was too large to carry anymore- it would be better to set up shot somewhere than keep moving or downsize.
* She met Rook when he needed volcanic glass and various ores to stock his forge. The two spent some time haggling before they began to talk, and it wasn’t long before this was a regular occurrence- the massive guardian and the little fae became fast friends. She liked his determination, and he liked her spark.
* A few months after she arrived at the village, Khepri’s colors began to fade, her eyes grew pale, and her body grew cold. She slept too much, was sluggish, and moved slowly- her usual nimbleness, her spark, was gone. Rook found her one day crumpled on the floor of her cart, and immediately took her to the clan’s herbalist-then-healer, Palmyra, in a panic.
* Palmyra prescribed Khepri a mixture of herbs and rest, and Rook took care of her in her weakened state. It took time, but she learned to walk again, then fly again, all with the help of Rook along the way. It was then that they fell for each other, quickly becoming inseparable partners.
* Now, Khepri takes care of the clan’s horde. She still does her trading and gets her fair share of travel in, but sticks close to Rook most of the time- it’s a rare sight to see them apart.
