Narses is one of the first children of the Lightweaver, a type of immortal dragon known as a Herald, blessed with the powers of a demi-god. Narsilitias, or more commonly Narses, was created to guide others in matters of Temperance, faith, and history. He's one of the oldest Heralds and always depicted as very serious and steadfast. He holds mortal dragons at more of an arm's length than the other Heralds, not because he loves them any less than his brothers and sisters, but because his long life has left him rather jaded. He cannot shake how fragile mortals are- nor his own fragility, for he lost an eye to the Shade long ago.

He primarily stays within his temple, watching from a vantage point to survey the lands surrounding Ieri Poli. He does directly intervene in matters of military when need be; the only mortals who deal with him directly are his Templars, and primarily the Grand Templar Creon Vranas. He has a rivalry with Belisairus, respecting her greatful but disliking the way she handles her affairs. He mostly isolates himself, waiting for the day that his brother Ios Dei returns to guide the rest of the Heralds, as his position as the eldest dictates he should.
