Biography
Vain with an ill temper, but takes after her mother. Luckily, like her mother, Sthena is naive. Her ego can make her socially oblivious, often to the point of missing obvious red flags. Still, the Pearlcatcher's magical power is undeniable. She weaves and wields spells with a raw power few dragons posses, and with little effort or strain on her part. Magic comes to her as easily as breathing. Luckily for those around her, she would much rather fixate on her own appearance, affix new gems to her gown, or search for silly fortunes among the stars than do anything truly damaging.
She did curse Circe once, though, when she was but a hatchling - she didn't like the fortune the Guardian foretold of her. Calypso quickly intervened on her daughter's behalf, and Stheno begrudgingly removed the curse. She didn't see what the big deal was! She'd just given Circe a taste of her own medicine, making the fortune teller's own tarot cards turn on her, a swarm of glittering paper constantly swooping and diving in the bereaved witch's direction. It was no wonder the fortune had been so unfair! Whoever had heard of a fortune teller who couldn't even get in control her own deck??
Mated to Nimrod, one of the Clan's top and fiercest warriors. He isn't always the brightest, but the two were attracted to one another's power - her with magic and energy, his with brute strength and fighting stratagem. A formidable pair. Who knows what their children will achieve?
Trio of friends: Sthena, Amethyst, Arya. Sthena is the queen bee, Arya the smart one, if cold and judgemental, and Amethyst the nicest of the three, though that isn't saying much.
3rd of her name onsite.
