 The rolling waters are not without their proper balancing act. Fish eat fish, plants bloom and die, and all along these gentle dragons help to keep the balance of it all. Their diets consist of anything they can find in the shallow waters where the paws of other flights may splash and play on a warm day. However, the waters around where these precious stars live are in danger. Their population is dwindling. The brightly colored sea stars are vulnerable to becoming endangered and threaten the balance they so easily keep within the marine ecosystem with their disappearing act.
The vibrant colors contrast against their gentle, benevolent demeanors. They are relatively solitary creatures - preferring to be alone but will occasionally congregate in groups. Their bright colors help to hide them against the coral that can be found in the shallower waters, aiding in keeping them safe from unwanted conflict. The bright colors can also be used, in instances where it is warranted, to try and ward off those potential attacks. They, however, never actively seek out trouble.
