Biography
Mirror’s Image author unknown
Quote:
This statue came to life one day and has been wandering through the deserted plains ever since. Designed by a skillful architect, the statue had a row of jewels going through its flank and parts of it were adorned with gold.
This mosaic sculpture depicting a mirror was one of 6 that were meant to be displayed in the streets of the Terraclae. The artist wasn’t satisfied with it at first and so made two other models before deciding to stick to the original, seemingly having caught a newfound appreciation for the work. The whereabouts of the later versions are unknown, though it’s theorized they could be in a private collection, or, if had they gained the will of life as well, wandering through unknown territories of Sornieth, perhaps even garnering the attention of the deities, and serving them. In an ironic twist, though the original statue has removed itself from its resting place in the Terraclae a long time ago, sights of a golden beast wandering the cave city’s streets have been reported. Otherwise, most sightings are around the outskirts of the Solcarven clan’s territory, almost as if it were protecting it. |
