scapolite (or scappy) adores wolves and will absolutely infodump about them at any opportunity. their parents blame this entirely on scrappy, who had the nerve to walk into the lair just after scapolite hatched. every dragon finds their familiar in a different manner but scapolite? they never had to look. a young scrappy simply chose them. and now with every action, scappy chooses scrappy right back.

scapolite had been maybe sorta friends with arcade before he left. and if it wasn't for scrappy, scapolite might have followed him into exaltation. in fact, they're still considering following him. but skylight came to them and asked them to stay.

skylight's plan was this: to gather up a few mutual friends and follow after his brother. he asked scapolite to watch over the clan in their absence. scapolite was devastated to find out that skilight knew about his feelings for arcarde, but still chose to leave them behind instead of asking them to come with.

devastated and finally alone, scapolite has chosen to record the clan's history. every inch of them yearns for arcade, for what could have been, but their job is not done and likely won't be for a long time.
