A mercenary and bounty hunter by trade, Galanoth is a dragon of simple ambitions. He wants to travel the world and see all that Sornieth has to offer. He wants to find a mate and settle down, raising clutch after clutch of strong hatchlings and serving his clan well. He wants to hone his skills to the best of his ability, and teach what he knows to the next generations. And he wants to have the head of the creature that killed his first clan stuffed and mounted on the wall above his nest.

Having been only a hatchling when his clan was attacked, Galanoth's memory of the creature that left him orphaned and alone is hazy at best. It was large and red, covered in glowing gold runes, and breathing fire of a sort that he has never once encountered again. All signs point to this creature being another dragon, but Galanoth has his doubts. What sort of dragon could belch forth fires rivaling even those of the Flamecaller?

After joining the clan, Galanoth encountered a young tundra he recognized as his Charge. He has since taken the hatchling under his wing, training him as an apprentice and acting as a surrogate father.
