Biography

ILLUSIONIST
The Runaway Faerie Prince

Clan Role: Scout
Mate: none
Pronouns: he/him
Bio: Tired of his life in the Seelie Court, his parents, and being stuck in the same magical forest all the time, Titania and Oberon's son changed his name and went on the run. It wasn't exactly hard, considering he's a powerful Faerie and has plenty of magic he can use to hide or vanish entirely. At first, he got into killing for hire and sport, taking care of Beastclans, beasts, and dragons alike who his clients wanted to disappear. But something in him disliked that gruesome work, and disliked who he was becoming doing it. He wanted to keep traveling, but if this was to be the way of things, should he just go home?

At his lowest point, on the verge of heading back to the Seelie Court with his tail between his legs and his crests practically dragging on the ground, he happened to run into an area of the forest that was on fire! Or, at least, it seemed to be. After he'd started to fly in closer, he realized it was an illusion. And he was very impressed. Not many mortal dragon mages could fool a Faerie, even just at first glance. The puzzle and intrigue of it perked him right up, and he immediately fluttered around to find who had cast that spell.

That was how Illusionist met Arcblast and also came into his new-new name. He'd never actually done much illusion magic before unless it was used to hide himself from view, but he was inspired to try and he had a natural talent for it that probably surpassed both his parents. It comes in quite handy in his current job of being the first into new areas before the rest of the group travels there, and of scouting out the best paths to follow in difficult terrain. Illusionist is very relieved no one has asked about either his Faerie heritage or why he always sleeps with multiple weapons close at claw. He's quite happy to leave his past behind and enjoy travelling around for a pleasant purpose, honing his abilities and learning from a very interesting group of dragons and dragon-adjacent beings.
