Biography

XXXMaze
fine engineer - visitor from a lost clan

Maze was born to an brilliantly scientific farther and from a young age has been fascinated with machinery of all kinds. More so than her brother or sister, she was always intrigued by the smaller and more detailed pieces like the inner workings of a pocket watch. From a hatchling she was always in her father's workshop, learning all she could from him.

When she grew old enough, she left her clan and her family to make her own future. A feisty and proud young girl she had no problem taking the world head on. Very soon she'd made a reputation for herself as a brilliant watchmaker with a tongue as sharp as her claws. This didn't bother her, however and she quickly found a clan which she settled into happily.

It was there that she met a young adventurer called Runner who needed a watch of his repaired. He was rather talkative and more than once earned himself a scratch when he interrupted Maze's work. By the time she'd completely remade the watch, however, she had come to have feelings for the nomadic young dragon and he for her.

Eventually he decided to settle down with her in her clan and although they would always go on little adventures, the pair would always return.

More recently, Maze had been contacted by another clan of Earth. Her reputation for fine engineering had preceded her, it seemed, and she had been requested to assist in building several intricate machines for "A Clan in Bruins" (the Snapper had said this bashfully and Maze could only just hold back a giggle at the silly pun).

She accepted the contract, partly because she was due another adventure, and partly because there was another tinkerer in the clan that she wanted to meet.

"His name is Voltaic", the Snapper had said, "He was originally from an Arcane clan, and so his methods of engineering are," she paused, "well, he is unconventional." Imagining an Arcane engineer's methods, diagrams of complex, mechanical systems used to accomplish mundane tasks surfaced Maze's mind and she smiled.

If this clan's projects were going to have any chance of completion, they would need her intervention.
